Muslim activist lied about her “mixed ethnic” background – Now revealed by her own mother as a white Caucasian woman

Raquel Evita Saraswati is a Muslim woman, described as a so called “social justice warrior” activist and also the head of justice, inclusion and culture of the American Friends Service Committee. Saraswati has long proclaiming to be of “mixed ethnic” background. It turns out that she has been lying according to her own mother. She is in fact a white Caucasian woman.
According to Saraswati herself she is of mixed Latina, South Asian, and Arab roots. But it turns out that that is not the case at all.
According to Saraswati’s own mother, Carol Perone, her real name is Rachel, and she is in fact a white European-American woman.
“I don’t know why she’s doing what she’s doing,” the mother told The Intercept, and showed them pictures of Saraswati as young child, proving that she was much “lighter” in her skin tone than she is now.
“I’m German and British, and her father was Calabrese Italian,” Perone explained to the newspaper proving that her daughter is in fact white, and added, “She’s chosen to live a lie, and I find that very, very sad.”
